I’m a ceramics-based artist, educator and curator. My research interests blend craft, design, and social well-being. I have taught in academia since 2002, at Manchester School of Art and more recently at Liverpool Hope University where I tutor in ceramics, design, and contemporary fashion.
Combined with my work in education, I’ve worked on a wide variety of artistic projects, shaped by collaborations and a wish to be a part of holistic research and practice.
In 2020, I became a Trustee for Gomde UK, a Buddhist Centre established by the charity Rangjung Yeshe UK in 2009. Our objectives are twofold; to offer authentic Buddhist teachings and spaces for retreat, and to protect and best preserve the rare habitat of Lindholme Estate.
In 2021, I became Secretary to the Board of Trustees for the Artists Benevolent Fund (ABF). The ABF has been supporting artists for over 200 years. Today, our aim is to enable artists to launch, develop and sustain a professional career.
